Terms and conditions

These terms govern your use of this website. They are not our terms of sale: those are agreed in writing in each quotation and order confirmation, and nothing on this site forms a contract on its own.

1. Who we are

Hometex Peru, a home-textile factory in Arequipa, Peru. We manufacture for other businesses under their own label. We do not sell to consumers, and this site is not a shop.

2. The site is information, not an offer

Specifications, sizes, fill weights, minimums and lead times shown here describe what we normally do. They are indicative and may change with the specification, the quantity, the destination and the time of year. A price, a minimum and a delivery date become binding only when we put them in a written quotation addressed to you.

3. Catalogues

Our catalogues are free to download and free to share inside your company. Stock, colours and references in them change; the current position is whatever we confirm to you in writing.

4. What belongs to whom

The text, photographs, drawings and designs on this site belong to Hometex Peru. You may quote from them for the purpose of evaluating us as a supplier. You may not present our products or our photography as your own manufacturing, or use them to market goods we did not make.

When we produce for you under your label, your brand, your artwork and your specification remain yours. We do not resell a product developed for you to another customer, and we do not show your name as a reference without asking you first.

5. Enquiries you send us

Use the contact form for genuine business enquiries. Do not use it to send confidential information you have not agreed with us first — an email form is not a secure channel. What we do with what you send is set out in our privacy policy.

The immediate reply you receive is generated automatically and is not a commercial commitment of any kind. Only a person’s reply binds us.

6. Links and availability

We keep this site running as reliably as we can, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of error. Where we link to another site, we are not responsible for what is on it.

7. Liability

Nothing here limits our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit. Beyond that, we are not liable for business losses arising from your use of this website, as distinct from the goods we supply you, which are covered by the terms of your order.

8. Governing law

These website terms are governed by the law of Peru. Where we invoice you from our company in your own country, the sale itself is governed by the law stated in that quotation and invoice.
